Modification is about creating vacuum tube circuit directly behind D/A converter.

The used lamp 6N30 is installed outside the CD player.

In the case of Sony 227 esd vacuum tube circuit is installed parallel to  original ciruit (the original circuit is kept and there is a possibility to compare the sound of both circuits).

The best modification when it comes to sound effect is cd sony 227 esd with nakamichi oms 5 and 7.

There is a possibility of testing of modified cd sony 227esd at clients house.

There is another way of modifying where two lamps 6N30 are installed together with dc servo on chanel. In this circuit the output of signal is the direct type not through a capacitor and that gives bass and tone the highest quality.
